Contract Title: Rehabilitation of Rural Water Supply Systems in Sangtuda Jamoat, Dangara District.

- The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Improvement of Water Resources Management in Khatlon Region Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Rehabilitation of Rural Water Supply Systems in Sangtuda Jamoat, Dangara district.
- The Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan/Project Implementation Unit “DVIP”, Improvement of Water Resources Management in Khatlon Region Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Rehabilitation of Rural Water Supply Systems in Sangtuda Jamoat, Dangara district with the completion period of 12 months.
- The work sites are located in the Sangtuda Jamoat of Dangara district in Khatlon region.Dangara district center is situated in the south-east at a distance of 100km from the city of Dushanbe.
- Description of works:
- Distribution network of polyethylene pipes DN = 32, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90, 110 and 180mm total length over 5.5 km;
- The pressure pipeline from the pumping station with a total length of L=1326m, the projected polyethylene pressure pipe with a diameter of D=160x14,6 mm;
- The pressure pipeline from the pumping station with a total length of L=1769m, the projected polyethylene pressure pipe with a diameter of D=225x20. 5 mm;
- Cost, delivery and installation of pumps type: ETSV10-63-180, VVN 1-3, D 200-95 horizontal or equivalent;
- Construction of a duty room and chlorination rooms, water metering cabinets, yard measuring collection columns, water tower, wells, water conduit wells, earthworks, concrete laying, etc.
- The Bidder must demonstrate:
- It has sufficient funds to meet the construction cash flow requirements estimated as US$ 399 430.00 (three hundred ninety-nine thousand four hundred thirty US Dollars) for the subject contract(s) net of the Bidders other commitments;
- Minimum average annual turnover of US$ 1 597 720.00 (one million five hundred ninety-seven thousand seven hundred twenty US Dollars) calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years;
- Specific Construction and Contract Management Experience requirements:
- Minimum one (1) similar contract in supply, installation and construction of water supply network that have been satisfactorily and substantially completed as a prime contractor, joint venture member, management contractor or sub-contractor between the 1st of January 2016 and application submission deadline, with a minimum value of US$ 1 278 170.00 (one million two hundred seventy-eight thousand one hundred seventy US Dollars);
- Experience in supply, installation and construction of:
Water pumps type: ETSV10-63-180, VVN 1-3, D 200-95 horizontal or equivalent;
The pressure pipeline from polyethylene pipes (D=160x14,6mm, 225x20.5mm) (about 3.1km length);
Polyethylene pipes D= 32, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90, 110 and 180mm (about 5.5km length), water metering cabinets, yard measuring collection columns, water tower, earthworks, construction of a duty room and chlorination rooms, wells, water conduit wells, earth-working, concrete laying, etc.
- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (April 2019) (“Procurement Guidelines”) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Unit “DVIP”, Improvement of Water Resources Management in Khatlon Region Project under the Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 09:00 to 17:00 hours (Dushanbe time) from Monday to Friday at the address given below:

- A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$50.00 (fifty US Dollars) or equivalent in Tajik Somoni per National Bank of Tajikistan exchange rate on payment date.

- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before May 31, 2023, 15:00 (Dushanbe time). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on May 31, 2023, 15:00 (Dushanbe time).
